Our story
Built for Maryville families.
Gym Counts was founded in Maryville in 1986 by Tracy Counts. Family-owned and operated from the start, it was built around a simple belief: every child deserves to feel important.
Gymnastics and movement were never the whole point — they were the tools. The larger purpose has always been to empower children, create athletes and inspire leaders. To use movement to grow confidence, leadership, strength and character.
Decades later, that purpose still drives everything. Gym Counts is meant to be fun, safe, welcoming and judgment-free — a place where every kid belongs, and where every kid counts.
